Next, we headed toward the strip for a early lunch/dinner buffet at Bacchanal at Caesar's Palace. This is a buffet that I was looking forward too. Bacchanal is said to be one of the best buffet in Vegas and had the most options in a buffet. I am here to report back that the rumors are true, it was amazing!
There was a juice bar with an array of fruit juices.
A plethora of meaty options including prime rib, ribs, sausage links, chicken, turkey, lamb and much more.
Many seafood options as well. Shrimp, crab, clams, etc.
A made to order taco area and a noodle bar with made to order udon, ramen and pho.
In the dessert area, there was a gelato station. Holy heaven!
There was also made to order shave ice station.
My favorite part of the entire buffet was the lobster chowder, prime rib, pizza and noodle bar. The gelato bar and shave ice was the icing on the cake.
The tip and trick to this buffet is going at 2:30 pm so you pay the lunch price of $36. The dinner buffet starts at 3 so you get all the dinner entrees for the price of lunch. Anything to save some money. If you're ever in Vegas, hit up Bacchanal! It is worth every penny.
Whenever I am in Vegas, I always like to see the exhibit at the Bellagio. The theme was summer. There were flowers, birds, bird house and insects all made out of flowers. The Bellagio always does a fabulous job on their exhibits. What a sight to see.
Next my dad and I walked the strip checking out all the sights, hotels and casinos.
After walking off our huge meal, I went to The Linq and got a cupcake from Sprinkles. Sprinkles is a famous cupcake shop that recently opened a location on the Las Vegas Strip. I stuck to the classic Red Velvet, which was scrumptious.
My dad and I went back to our hotel and rested for a bit. Later on that night we visited Downtown and explored the Fremont experience.
This was a fun filled first day. The worst part about my trip is that I got carded wherever I went. But I am so grateful that my dad brought me and took me all around Vegas. The best part of the trip was that I got to spend quality time with my dad.
