SALTED LEMON LILIHA

Salted Lemon is a health bar located in Liliha on Liliha Street. This is a small family run business that opened its doors in early May. The owner grew up around produce all his life since his family owns Bob's Market, which is located a couple doors down from Salted Lemon. So when this store location opened up, he jumped on the opportunity.

Salted Lemon offers acai and pitaya bowls, fresh pressed juices, smoothies and a papaya boat. They are constantly updating their menu to accommodate what their customers want. How awesome is that?

The interior of the store is absolutely adorable. Everything looks very hipster and earthy. The owner overhauled the old location and completely redid it. There is a beautiful feature wall made out of reclaimed wood. The benches and tables are made with reclaimed wood as well. The interior matches the menu and vibe completely. This is what I imagine a health bar to look like.

I got the acai bowl that came with granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, bee pollen and honey. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Not to mention it was huge. My mom and I should've shared it.

My mom got the papaya boat, which was a skinless, seedless kahuku papaya with greek yogurt, granola, bananas, blueberries and chia seeds. This is such a great breakfast to kick start your day.

Salted Lemon is the kind of joint that Liliha desperately needed. There aren't many health bars or smoothie locations in Liliha so I am confident it will do well. The store is open every day and the employees are super sweet. I always love great customer service. The downfall is parking is a little bit difficult but if you look on Liliha street or side streets it shouldn't be super hard to find parking. But I will definitely be back to Salted Lemon. I've already got my eye on the Pitaya Bowl.
