FATHER'S DAY

Today is the day that we honor all of our daddies for being the cooliest cats in town. I am appreciative for my dad for always being my number one fan, supporting me in whatever I do, giving me the world and more and for loving me unconditionally. With that being said, today it was all about him.

Since my sister had a early morning canoe regatta in Nanakuli, we had to make the long drive out to the west side by 7 am. So we went to my dad's favorite breakfast spot in Kapolei, which is Julie'z. Julie'z is one of the only Filipino restaurants that I eat at and they make the best Adobo Fried Rice. My sister, mom and I shared the Adobo Fried Rice and the Red Velvet Pancakes. This breakfast combo was the unlike any other. The pancakes with cream cheese frosting was (I hate to say) better than Cinnamon's and it complimented the fried rice perfectly. Needless to say, I had a great morning breakfast with my dad at one of our favorite spots. I was so stuffed, I skipped lunch. That's how you know breakfast was great.
