MAUI, HI

Normally, my family is crazy busy on a Saturday but for some reason we had no obligations. So we hopped on a plane and headed to Maui for the day. My dad is the bomb.com for sponsoring this adventure. It was a perfect beautiful and hot (I mean, 93 degrees hot) day to go for an adventure.

After we landed I stopped at my favorite little chocolate shop for some peanut butter chocolate mochi. It is one of my favorite Maui treats so I made sure to stop here first thing in the morning before they ran out.

Next stop was Wow Wow Lemonade for a cold refreshing drink. Wow Wow Lemonade offers many different lemonades in many different sizes.

The best part is they serve their lemonade in different sized reusable mason jars. I got the Kula strawberry mint lemonade (far left) and it was delicious and refreshing. My mom got the Watermelon basil (far right) and my sister got the Lavender Blackberry (middle). If you bring your mason jar back you can get a $5 refill. Luckily they do farmer's markets on Oahu. Phew!

Next stop on our Maui adventure was Leoda's for lunch. My mom went here last time she was on Maui and I have been dreaming about trying it ever since. Leoda's is a Kitchen and Pie shop that focuses on farm fresh and sustainable ingredients. We all know how much I love farm fresh so this place already captured my heart.

My sister and I split the Seared Ahi and Ham'n sandwich and can you say AMAZING! It had such amazing flavor and textures. Every bite was better than the last.

My mom had the chicken pot pie, which she greatly enjoyed.

You can't go to a pie shop and not get a pie for dessert so I got the banana cream pie and my mom got the apple pie. I literally died and went to pie heaven after eating these two desserts. The banana cream pie was the best I ever tasted due to it crunchy crust and sweet cream and banana filling. The apple pie was warm with a crunchy outside and delicious inside. I highly recommend to book a flight to Maui just to eat at Leoda's.

After a filling lunch, we decided to walk it off and explore Ka'anapali and Lahaina. First, we went to the Marriott to visit my sister's Oregon friend where I spent a relaxing 15 minutes swinging on a hammock. It brought back my childhood while I made my mom push me (hehe). Then we went to Lahaina town and explored the numerous amount of shops and eateries on the water.

We headed back into Kahului and stopped at Tasaka Guri Guri for a sweet, cold treat. This is a mandatory stop whenever we are in Maui. Nothing beats the delicious flavor for such a cheap price. One day they'll catch on to my subtle hints to open a shop on Oahu.

Our last stop before going to the airport is Krispy Kreme donuts to get my little sister a dozen glazed donuts. I suppose she deserves it since she didn't get to come with us to Maui.
