MARCUS MARIOTA HEISMAN WINNER

12-13-14 is a date that no one in Hawaii will ever forget. Marcus Mariota, a former Saint Louis Crusader and current University of Oregon Duck won the coveted Heisman Trophy. The Heisman Trophy could not have been given to a better person. Marcus is everything that the Heisman stands for; a great football player, exceptional leader and an even better person. He truly is The Pride of Hawaii. Hawaii is unlike any place in the world. It is a very family based community, where everyone has aloha for one another. Marcus encompasses aloha on and off the field, which is why he is the perfect recipient. Marcus is number 8, won the 80th Heisman and is from the 808. What a coincidence. But all joking aside, I couldn't be happier for Marcus, his family and the Oregon Ducks. This guy will do big things and continue to make Hawaii Proud. Mahalo Marcus and Go Ducks. Be sure to watch this Marcus tribute that the University of Oregon made for him. It is touching .. tear*.
