On a bright, sunny Kaua'i day my boyfriend and his nephew convinced me to go fishing at the harbor with them. Fishing is not my area of expertise at all. My boyfriend is more of the connoisseur of fishing and I just eat what he catches but I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, I caught at least 7 baby fishes, which I ended up throwing back. But hey, it was all in good fun. I had such a great time and definitely one of the highlights of my mini vaca. Amazing how much fun simple, inexpensive summer activities can be.
