BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON

Suburbs here we come. My mom used to come to Seattle a lot to visit my aunty while she was in school so she wanted to show us her old spots. So we made the short drive out to Bellevue. As we were making the drive we passed the iconic space needle. It is a beautiful site to see and has amazing views from the top.

Next on the tour was University of Washington. The campus is right on the lake and absolutely gorgeous.

To get to Bellevue, you can either go all the way around the lake or cut right through on the floating bridge. So of course we took the beautiful short cut. It is a site to see and worth the toll. It floats right on the water with one side crashing with huge waves and the other peaceful and serene. It was trippy to see.

When we were in Bellevue I had to stop at a mall. We went to Lincoln/Bellevue Square. It was a huge mall with countless amounts of stores. The two stores that I fell in love with was Anthropologie and Free People.

Since it was approaching dinner time after we were done at the mall, my mom wanted to take us to Ivars. Ivars is a seafood chain known for their clam chowder. So of course we got a clam chowder bread bowl and fish and chips. I was never a huge fan of fish and chips but I loved it. The fish was tasty and cooked to perfection. The chowder was great as well. It was perfect warm meal since it was starting to get colder.

Now after a wonderful evening in Bellevue it was time to head back to the hotel. But not until we get a little dessert ...
